Rosenberg is one of Fort Bend County’s most active new-construction markets right now — Brookewater leads with 850 acres and eight builders, Holly Ridge just broke ground in 2025 with entry-level pricing, and established Kingdom Heights rounds out the mix. All three are zoned to Lamar CISD, known for one of the lower tax rates in the Houston area. Note: “The George,” sometimes loosely described as near Rosenberg, is officially a Richmond address — don’t confuse the two when citing school zones or commute distances.
