New Caney and Porter are adjacent, unincorporated Montgomery County communities sharing New Caney ISD — Tavola anchors New Caney, while Valley Ranch and the award-winning Highlands (2024 Master-Planned Community of the Year) anchor Porter. All three sit along the US-59/69 and Grand Parkway corridor, with easy access to The Woodlands and Kingwood. Since both areas are unincorporated, address alone won’t tell you the school zone — verify with New Caney ISD directly.
